Vermont Can Do Better

Over the past several years, I’ve heard the same concerns from neighbors, teachers, parents, farmers, and small business owners across our district:

The decisions being made in Montpelier aren’t making our lives better.

We lose local control over our schools. Families see fewer educational choices. Rural health care grows more fragile. Roads and infrastructure continue to deteriorate. Too often, partisan politics takes priority over practical solutions.

Vermonters deserve better than that.

Real Solutions, Not More of the Same

Every business owner knows you can’t slash your way to growth.

Yet for too long, that has been the approach in Montpelier. After a decade of the same leadership, it’s time for fresh ideas that produce real results.

Building a Stronger Caledonia

Making life better starts with tackling the high cost of living and the high cost of doing business in our corner of Vermont.

That means:

• Investing in roads, broadband, and the infrastructure rural communities depend on.
• Growing our population, economy, and tax base.
• Making it easier to build affordable homes.
• Creating good jobs close to where people live.
• Strengthening agriculture and ensuring the people who work the land are paid a fair price for what they produce.

These aren’t partisan goals. They’re Vermont goals.

Government That Works

Some would have you believe that government itself is the problem.

I believe the problem is government that isn’t working.

To borrow Ronald Reagan’s famous question: Are you better off today than you were ten years ago?

For too many Vermonters, the answer is no. Housing has become less affordable. Health care has become more difficult to access. Our education system faces enormous challenges. We should expect more from the people we send to Montpelier.

Leadership That Listens

Elections are about priorities, leadership, and the future of our communities.

Caledonia deserves a senator who listens carefully, communicates openly, and acts boldly on behalf of the people who live here—not the political establishment.

Over the coming months, I’ll be traveling throughout the district, meeting with neighbors, hearing your concerns, and building a shared vision for Vermont’s future.

This is our Brave Little State, and Caledonia is Vermont’s brave little Senate district. Together, we can build the kind of future that gives the next generation every opportunity to thrive.
